George HobbsA love of film, art, and photography brought me to Los Angeles over thirty years ago. I moved from Chattanooga, Tennessee to Venice Beach and pursued a career in filmmaking, learning how to tell stories with pictures. In 2015, dismayed by the divisio surrounding me, I started my Stick Figure Wisdom series, expressing complex concepts with simple symbols. These modern-primitive pieces have shown in galleries in Los Angeles and Miami, and I was a featured artist in The Hive Gallery's "Rising Stars of L.A." show in 2017.
