George G Epp

George G EppGeorge Epp was born and raised on a farm in the Saskatchewan Valley. His Russian Mennonite heritage with its Anabaptist Peace, Justice and discipleship emphases were imprinted at an early age. A high school and adult education English and History teaher by career, Epp has found time and energy to serve his denomination's vision as Moderator of Mennonite Church Saskatchewan, chair of the Rosthern Junior College board, a three-year administrative post with Mennonite Central Committee in Europe and numerous voluntary service assignments. An addicted writer, Epp maintains three blogs on three topics: current events, Bible-based meditations and Arts reviews. Off Road, an anthology of short stories won Saskatchewan Book Awards' Best First Book for 2009.
