George a GlassGeorge A. Glass grew up in New Jersey. He studied international affairs in Boston, Bologna, Washington, Berlin and Pittsburgh. From 1977 until 1981 he worked as a lecturer and author in Germany and France. In early 1981 he joined the U.S. Department f State as a career diplomat. He spent 31 years in diplomatic missions, which included Berlin, Moscow, Washington, Tokyo, Bern, Vienna, and Munich. He reached the senior ranks of the Foreign Service winning numerous awards. He is the author of The Hamiltons of Danbury 1688-2015: Whales, Revolution, Wild West, Civil War, Printing Press. Mr. Glass left the Foreign Service in late 2011.
