He serves as an advisor, investor and board member to various private and public usinesses. Prior to starting Big Brain Place, he was Chief Financial Officer of several companies, including Francesca's Collections and David's Bridal. Gene is an avid reader, enjoying a wide range of genres including business books, thrillers, mysteries, science and science fiction. He's a big fan of college basketball, in particular his alma mater The University of Memphis where he received a BBA and an MBA.
