He was inspired to compile these stories of women working in roles in that industry which are NOT as an astronaut.Gary trained at the International Space University in France. There, he aw the struggles of young women who wished to enter the industry but were held back by lack of funds to pay for the necessary study.His dream was to inspire tween and teenage girls to reach for the stars and have a fulfilling career in the Space Industry, even if they didn't qualify for the Astronaut program.
