Gabriela Collado RodriguezGabriela Collado Rodriguez was born in Brooklyn, New York. She is a native Spanish speaker of Puerto Rican and Dominican heritage. She and Angela Davis met in 2008, when she was a student in Ms. Davis's 7th grade English class. Since then Rodriguez gaduated from Boricua College, and she lives in Brooklyn where she works as an educator for children with special needs. This is her second contribution to a children's book.
