Fréderike GeerdinkFrederike Geerdink is a Dutch freelance journalist who reported on Kurdish issues in Turkey's south-eastern province of Diyarbakır between 2012 and 2015, before being deported by the Turkish authorities. She continued her journalistic work and sudies and produced her second book, "This Fire Never Dies," first released in the Netherlands in 2018, and as an English translation 2021, deals with her time with PKK.
