Friedrich ThunFriedrich Kaspar Walter Thun was born in Marburg, in central Germany. After attending the Waldorf School in Marburg, he began an agricultural apprenticeship and completed it at Arpshof biodynamic farm near Hamburg. He has been involved in calculatingdata and writing for the Maria Thun Biodynamic Calendar for a number of years. In 2020, he and his sister, Maria, took over the creation of the calendar and the management of the family farm from their late father, Matthias.
