Frans ZwartjesFrans Zwartjes (1927-2017) was a filmmaker, musician, luthier, draughtsman, photographer, painter, and sculptor, known nationally and internationally for his experimental films from the 1960s and '70s. Zwartjes, who was once given the title of 'most mportant experimental filmmaker of his time' by American essayist Susan Sontag, has more than fifty films to his name.
