Frank ArjuneFrank Arjune was born in the Republic of Guyana in 1949. When Frank was eighteen years old, his father was murdered and he became the breadwinner for his mother and five younger siblings. Despite the hardships, he attended night classes at the Univerity of Guyana. After graduating from the University of Guyana at the age of twenty-four, he taught high school in Guyana for twelve years. In 1986, Mr. Arjune immigrated to the United States. Here he attended Long Island University, from which he graduated with an MS degree in 1993. Mr. Arjune, who teaches in New York, is the author of The Guyana Exodus, published 1995, Carlton Press Corporation, NY. Mr. Arjune has completed three other novels and is in the process of transferring these to discs. He maintains strong bonds with the people of his Guyana homeland. Read More Read Less
