Frank A GerbodeApplied Metapsychology International (AMI) (first called the Institute for Research in Metapsychology), was founded by Frank A. Gerbode, MD in 1984 for the purpose of developing, researching, and disseminating the subject of Applied Metapsychology. Te Board of Directors oversees the overall direction and plans of the organization. Committees perform many of the vital functions of the organization, such Development & Editing, running the Certification program, co-coordinating Research, and so on. AMI holds the copyrights of the materials and maintains a certification program that sets standards of service. The certification process offers students who have successfully completed facilitator (practitioner) training the opportunity to improve and develop their capabilities and be recognized as competent. After an in-depth apprenticeship, new trainers may be certified to deliver the training workshops, and to supervise the work of other facilitators. Since its conception, AMI has continued to support, encourage, and oversee research in TIR and related techniques around the world. Read More Read Less
