Frances FayerweatherI was born and grew up in Rhode Island. My mother of mixed origin Latin and father a member of the Niantic tribe which is part of Rhode Island indigenous history. I have been married for 60 years lived in New Mexico and Rhode island a year and New Yok 58 years I have two sons a daughter in-law and granddaughter they are all exceptionally talented. They have encouraged me to write this book. I have crocheted toys for children at Christmas. I never follow the instructions given always making adjustments because the toys are too big or not in correct proportion. My education beyond high school was business school and junior college. I have given art students advice that was a positive asset to them. I will try almost any hobby or project in fact my husband bought me a hammer many years ago. That's been used on many projects.

This is my first book and hope it has something that will be useful to make your project your own. I have only been crocheting about five years and there is a lot more to learn about this hobby. I go to the public library each week and the women there encourage and support each other.
