Flores B RPOLICE SGT. BRENDA FLORES was a pioneer. One of the first women in law enforcement assigned to patrol, she also created the canine police program for U.C. Davis, training canines in police work and bomb detection. A gifted artist, she served as a comosite artist for her department. And she was at the forefront of handling domestic violence and abuse issues while on the force. A wife, mother, and grandmother who is now retired, when not writing Brenda stays active by working out, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and by enjoying all the activities the southern California sunshine has to offer.
