Florence Reiss KrautFlorence Reiss Kraut is a native New Yorker, raised and educated in New York City. She holds a BA in English and a MSW in social work, and she worked for thirty years as a clinician, a family therapist, and finally CEO of a family service ageny before retiring to write and travel widely. She has published stories for children and teens, romance stories for national magazines, literary stories, and personal essays for the Westchester section of The New York Times. She has three married children and nine grandchildren. Street Corner Dreams is her second novel, following the excellent reception of How to Make a Life, her first novel.
