Herbella is an Affiliate Professor at the Department of Surgery, Federal University of São Paulo, Brazil, where he obtained his MD, residency training in general and GI surgery, MSc and Doctor Degrees. He is a fellow of the Brazilia College of Digestive Surgery and a Member of the International Society for Surgery and the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary tract.
