Faye L AllenFaye L. Allen was born in Florida's panhandle in Quincy, a small rural farming town. Growing up she and her family worked on tobacco farms, tomato fields, and pecan groves in and near Quincy. Her exposure to the outdoors was the catalyst to a deep afinity for the incomparable aesthetic and indomitable power of nature. She carried this admiration into her teen years and beyond. She was the first in her family line to attend college where she obtained bachelor's and Juris Doctorate degrees. She has one child, Anika Naomi. She is a mother, a prayer partner, and a poet.
