Faubus Bob LandryDr. Faubus Bob Landry was born in Black Bayou, Louisiana, in 1936. He grew up in a Cajun family with six brothers and three sisters. Bob met Judith Schiller in Minneapolis while they were attending Minnesota Bible College. They married in 1957 and moed to California. There he finished his Bachelors at Pepperdine College. He later received his Doctor of Divinity from Vanderbilt University in 1972 while serving as minister in Dover, Tennessee. Bob was a scholar of the life and ministry of Harry Emerson Fosdick. Dr. Landry served as senior pastor in five different churches in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Texas. He was also an active member and founder of several community organizations and non-profits that addressed the issues unique to the inner city.
