F Delaine DonaldsonDelaine Donaldson is a retired educator with thirty-five years of experience at Effingham High School in Effingham, Illinois, and forty-one as an adjunct social studies department faculty member for Lake Land College of Mattoon, Illinois. He is the rcipient of numerous teaching awards, including two from the State Board of Education--an Award of Merit during the1991-92 school year and an Award of Recognition during the 1994-95 school year--and the National Daughters of Colonial Wars Illinois state teacher award in 1991. In 2005, he was honored as one of fifty outstanding alumni from Eastern Illinois University's graduate program during its first fifty years of existence, where he received both his undergraduate and graduate in history.
