Eva McCauleyEva McCauley MFA is a painter and printmaker whose images of sky, water and shifting landscapes merge abstraction with figuration, and explore the ever-changing conditions of people and their environments. In her most recent landscape paintings she i increasingly concerned with the climate crisis, particularly its effect on ocean environments. She studied visual art at the Ontario College of Art and Design, the University of Guelph and the University of Waterloo, and taught visual art at the University of Waterloo for 18 years. She has exhibited nationally and internationally, and her work is in many public and private collections. Most recently the UNB Art Centre Permanent Collection and the Nova Scotia Art Bank (2022) have acquired her paintings. Eva has received numerous grants and awards, including a Nova Scotia Creation Grant.
