Eva Margarida de Azevedo Campos SalgadoEM Salgado is a PhD student in Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), Portugal. She graduated in Bioengineering specialising in Biological Engineering, by FEUP in 2021.She published 2 articles in inernational peer-reviewed journals, 1 as the first author, and 2 book chapters, 1 as the first author. Her research work was discussed in 5 international meetings, winning the best poster award in one of them. Her research interests include the use of microalgal cultures for wastewater treatment, removal of contaminants of emerging concern such as siloxanes, biogas upgrading, and employing innovative photobioreactor designs in these processes under the principles of a circular economy.
