Eue Soon JangProf. Eue-Soon Jang, Ph.D., is a Professor at the Department of Applied Chemistry, Kumoh National Institute of Technology (KIT), South Korea. He worked as Post-Doctoral Fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine, Stanford, USA. He also worked a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, POSTECH, South Korea. In addition, he worked as a Senior Researcher in the Department of Future Technology Research, Korea Telecom, South Korea. He received his B.Sc. degree from Department of Chemistry, Chungnam National University, South Korea, and his Master and Ph.D. degrees from Department of Chemistry, Seoul National University, South Korea. He served as the Editorial Board and reviewer of more than 70 journals and also served as the Guest editor of MDPI groups. He won the outstanding paper award from the Organizing Committee of the 6th Cross Straits Symposium on Materials, Energy and Environmental Engineering, South Korea. He received a Vice President Citation award from Korea Telecom due to outstanding contribution in the field of new technology business. He also received numerous academic awards in the last 20 years. His primary research interests are the investigation and development of nanobiomedicine for multimodal imaging-guided cancer therapy. His research program is mainly based on synthesis of various metal nanoparticles and crystal engineering of various solid nanoparticles.
