Erna Burger de FexWhen she began writing her regular column "Reflections" for Northern Life newspaper in 2007, Erna de Burger Fex's goal was to make people laugh and creatively capture life as an immigrant in a new country and community.

With grace, humourand at times poignant sadness, her column shared the joys of family life and the challenges of living and aging in Northern Ontario.
