She grew up on the Oregon Coast but now lives near the Oregon Desert where there is a lot less rain and a lot more cows. Inspiration for her art stems from giggles nd smiles on kid's faces. Her illustration career began with the Chuckle and Learn series The Adventures of Captain Stinky and Sailor Puss, written by New Zealand author, Colin Fisher.
