Eric Seifter

Eric SeifterDr. Eric Seifter is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Oncology and has cared for patients as a medical oncologist with a focus on hematologic malignancies since 1987. After completing undergraduate and medical studies at the University of Pennsyvania, he pursued his medical residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital and his fellowship at the National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Seifter's interest in investigating and treating patients with lymphoma was sparked by his close friendship with a colleague, Dr. Lawrence Sigman, who battled Hodgkin's lymphoma several times, but ultimately succumbed to complications of treatment. Since then, he has dedicated his career to the care and education of those afflicted with these diseases. He has also dedicated himself to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows, who, in the near future, will uncover new therapeutic options to enhance the cure and quality of life for all patients.
