Eric GreitensEric Greitens was born and raised in Missouri. He attended Duke University as an A.B. Duke Scholar and was awarded a Truman and a Rhodes scholarship to attend Oxford University, where he won a gold medal at the BUSA National Boxing Championships and arned a Ph.D. His research led to humanitarian work around the world, including in Rwanda, Albania, Mexico, India, Croatia, Bolivia, and Cambodia. In 2001, Eric joined the Navy SEALs and deployed four times during the global war on terror. His military awards include the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. When Eric returned from Iraq, he founded The Mission Continues, America's leading organization for helping wounded and disabled warriors to serve their country again as citizen leaders here at home.
