Eric FluellenI grew up in a small town called East Chicago Indiana, and before you ask it is located in Indiana, a few miles from Gary Indiana if that means anything. I suppose the person who named the place didn't have much in the way of an imagination when cameto coming up with a name for a town. He or she might have said, hey were east of Chicago why don't we call ourselves East Chicago Indiana as you can see one of the great thinkers of America. As far education goes I have a degree as a paralegal, I won't say that makes me a expert in writing science fiction, but I would say that I have enjoyed stories and creation of a story, from the characters, to the plot, and always wondered could I do that.
