Epiphany Z Crush I simply love words and literature! Ever since I was a little girl in Jackson, Mississippi. I have such vivid memories of playing Scrabble and of going to the library to check out tons of books on Saturday mornings. As an adult, I aspire to make bot children and adults feel as I still do about books and literacy. I've been writing since age eleven, dreaming of one day being able to share my writing with the world. I write stories, poetry, and plays. In high school, I received honors in a creative writing course for a screen play I wrote. Since high school, I've experienced the joys of motherhood, attending, and graduating from a four year college. My bachelor's degree is in education. Since then, I have taught grades k-5, worked as a substitute teacher for pre-k through 8th grade, and I gained experience as a special education teacher. I love teaching just as much as I love words and literature. Currently, I have two published books: The Sky is the Limit (children's) and Love, Heartbreaks, Epiphanies, and Joy, which is a poetry collection. The poetry collection includes many poems that were inspired by my own experiences.
In my leisure time, you can find me at a library, bookstore, on a road trip, at a basketball game, at a play, listening to music, reading, and spending time with my family. Writing stories and poetry is something I love to do anytime and any place. I never get tired of writing! I often tutor students who are struggling with reading, grammar, and language arts skills.
