Enid HickmonEnid Hickmon is a fine artist trained in the classical tradition specific to the pre-Raphaelite era. Formally trained while an undergraduate student at Mount Holyoke College where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree, she pursued a career teaching ine art for a number of years to children, adolescence, and adults at Mission: Renaissance Fine Art School in Los Angeles. During this time as a fine art instructor she was further mentored by world famous artist Larry Gluck, founder of Mission: Renaissance Fine Art School. Under his guidance she solidified her foundation as a classically trained representational fine artist. She has been painting professionally for seventeen years and has been commissioned for many paintings that are displayed in homes throughout the country and in institutions reaching as far as the Anchorage County Courthouse in Alaska. Now a mother rearing a young family with her husband in Los Angeles, she has recently embarked on painting whimsical art for her children and young admirers alike and features her illustrations for the first time in this children's storybook. I am delighted that Enid Hickmon agreed to illustrate this book because of her sensitivity to the subject. She is a dedicated mother and her children have adoring and adored grandparents.
