Emory JonesEmory Jones grew up in White County, Georgia, in the southern Appalachians. He has been the Southeastern editor for Farm Journal magazine and Executive Vice President at an Atlanta-based advertising agency. Emory interviewed and wrote about farmers wile visiting all fifty states during his career. He has authored eight other books, including White County 101, Zipping Through Georgia on a Goat-Powered Time Machine, Memories Etched in Pott'ry, Heart of a Co-Op-The Habersham EMC Story, Distant Voices-The Story of the Nacoochee Valley Indian Mound, Helen 101, Valley Voices, and The Valley Where They Danced.
