Elvin StantonElvin Stanton, a native of Baldwin County, Alabama, was an honor graduate of the U.S. Army Information School in Fort Slocumb, N.Y. Stanton went on to work as a journalist for United Press International and was a member of the Capitol Press Corps durng the John Patterson administration. He later was named chief of staff for Governor George C.
