Elizabeth WhitehouseElizabeth Whitehouse is an environmental activist granny focused on restoring biodiversity from the soil up. She is a Master Gardener, graduate of Maine Compost School, certified in Permaculture Design, Climate Reality Project Leader and linguist. Muh of her life has revolved around books. She left her native South Africa to study bookbinding which became her career for the next 30 years. She has also been a bookseller, editor, and translator. She has compiled, designed and made by hand some 20 very small books in limited editions, and self-published two books for children and two non-fiction works dealing with environmental issues. Her interests include languages (she speaks six) and travel, the arts, growing things, education and the natural world.
