Elizabeth MaginnisA native of Rochester, New York, Elizabeth holds a bachelor's degree in Social Theory, Structure and Change (Political Science) from the State of University of New York, Empire State College, and worked for many years as a paralegal in a national lawfirm, managing the firm's mortgage foreclosure practice. Elizabeth is a devoted animal lover and pet parent. Her goal as a writer is to introduce the very young to the joy of reading and the world of animals through her stories. Her first book, There's a Dog On the Dining Room Table! (Xist Publishing, 2014) was inspired by an actual event involving her dog Barney and several of her mischievous cats. Xist published her second book, If a Dog Could Wear a Hat, in 2018. Xist will release her third book, Stuffed Animal Dance Party, in 2021.
