Elita H KeenerI traveled all over the place as a child. The Carribean was my kiddie pool, the dessert was my sand box, but books were my kingdom. Any time I opened one I was transported away. I still remember brave Madeline poo-pooing the tiger in the zoo or cryin when Laura Ingalls dog died. I believe that good quality literature is important because you are the company you keep. I was a teacher for 10 years before becoming a mom to two little boys who are always begging for more of my stories.
