Elisabeth N GibbingsElisabeth Gibbings has served as Director of Admissions and Practicum Training at Widener University's Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology for 15 years. An associate professor, she teaches graduate courses in psychological assessment. Elizabet Gibbings earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1989 while simultaneously completing a school psychology specialization at Bryn Mawr College. As part of her doctoral training at Hahnemann, she completed internship rotations at Albert Einstein Medical Center and the Peberdy Clinic at Abington Memorial Hospital. Following graduation, she provided outpatient child and family serves at Crozer Chester Medical Center. From there, she moved to the Rockford Center, a free standing psychiatric hospital in Delaware, where she eventually held the position of Clinical Director. Elizabeth Gibbings is both a licensed psychologist and a certified school psychologist. In addition to her work at the university, she has a private practice focused on assessment.
