Elisabeth LymanElisabeth Lyman is from the American Midwest, where she studied French, Arabic, Spanish, and linguistics before moving to San Francisco to complete a graduate degree in teaching English as a second language. She then taught for several years before prsuing further studies in French-to-English translation and establishing herself as a freelance translator. In 2009, Elisabeth moved to Paris and there found many new opportunities to contribute to creative and literary projects through her translation work. Already a vegetarian for several years, she was inspired by the small but vibrant vegan community in France to learn more about this way of eating and living-an exploration that led to embracing veganism and developing a passion for the culinary arts.
