Lily Mandelbaum, Elisa Goodkind's daughter, is currently an undergraduate filmmaking and anthropology major at NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study. After taking a life-changing trip to Nairobi's Kibera slum in 2009, Mandelbaum completed a documentary film that depicts the struggles faced by slum orphans.
