Eleanor PrunerEleanor Pruner, born in 1931 during the Great Depression in New York City, grew up with the neighborhoods of Brooklyn as her playground. Always a creative, she started writing poetry as a child and now has well over 250 unpublished works. Wad Of Gum as written when she was just 11 years old after spying someone dropping something on the street as they walked by. Upon investigation, she discovered a wad of gum wrapped in paper-actually considered found treasure during the Depression! A treasure that, perhaps, should be shared! Her grandchildren have never received a straight answer to the question, "Well, did you ACTUALLY chew the gum?!?"
