Elaine SorgardElaine Sorgard grew up on a farm in southern Alberta along with two brothers and a menagerie of cats, dogs and cousins. She received her Bachelor of Education from the University of Lethbridge and was subsequently an educator in rural schools in the rea for many years. In addition to several cookbooks, she has authored a collection of poems and stories from pioneer times entitled Prairie Tales.
