Eileen Crowley SullivanEileen Crowley Sullivan is a washashore--someone who was not born on the Cape but moved there. She is a year-round resident of Falmouth who spent every summer on the Cape as a child. She and her husband, Billy, used to take their own family to the Cae each summer too. Eileen earned her doctorate in education. She then taught and worked in education and administration at the higher education level for more than thirty-five years. She likes to play golf, tennis, pickleball, kayak, as well as walk and read for hours at a local beach in the summer. She is known to host a lobster feast like the one described in the book. In the fall and winter she loves to curl at the Cape Cod Curling Club. The author loves when her entire family--Brendan; Kim; their daughter, Ruby Joan; Cassie; Dan; their daughter, Hazel Octavia; and their dog, Leo--comes to visit Falmouth and Cape Cod.
