Edward R BeldingEdward Robert Belding was born in North Adams Massachusetts. A graduate of Rutgers University in New Jersey with a B. A. in History and an M.Ed. in Education, he is a retired teacher who previously taught gifted and talented students in the New Brunsick, New Jersey Public School System. Edward Belding has written several books of prose as well as Revolutionary War-era novels centered in New Jersey. He is a prolific fine artist, skilled in drawing and painting, being especially skilled at using recycled materials. Edward is also the pitcher on a softball team in the under-fifty age league-and he is thirty years above that! A devoted family man, he lives with his wife, Florence, in central New Jersey.
