Edward Otis HandyAuthor Ned Handy grew up and now lives in an old family house in Barnstable, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. Educated at Harvard College ('51) and Law School ('56), he was a Marine officer in Korea ('52-'53). He worked for Textron Inc. in Providence, RI, etiring in 1991 as vice president and secretary. Among other community roles, he served as president of the Providence Athenaeum, and trustee of the Cahoon Museum of American Art. Ned and his wife Sue have four married children and 12 grandchildren. Illustrator Jim Bush is a Kenyon College graduate and is an award-winning editorial cartoonist, book illustrator, and painter.
