Edna Davis GiffenEdna Davis Giffen belongs to the twelfth generation of the Davis family to live in Mount Sinai. She has researched, published, and presented on local history with the focus on Mount Sinai and Miller Place. She is an active member, archivist and past-resident of the Miller Place-Mount Sinai Historical Society. Ann M. Becker is an Assistant Professor at SUNY Empire State College, and received her doctorate from Stony Brook University in 2005. She has both published and regularly presented her scholarly work.
