Born and raised in a suburb of Detroit, MI, he now lives in Raleigh, NC. Hi current job is to raise three children. Ed had worked as a programmer for a publishing company in Michigan. In 2001, he came up with an idea to put all of their publications on a small electronic device to save money (and trees.) So he created a proposal to pitch his idea to the publishing company, which rejected it. If he would have pursued this idea, he could have invented the Kindle. He learned from that experience to take action on his creative ideas. When the pandemic hit America in March 2020, Ed decided to put his spare time to good use by writing a novel.
