Douglas WebbDouglas Webb was born in 1922 in Leytonstone, London. He joined the RAF when he was 18 and served as an air gunner during the War and was awarded the DFM (Distinguished Flying Medal) for his part in the famous Dambusters raid. After the war he joinedthe London news agency as a staff photographer, eventually moving on to work in the film industry. As the British film industry contracted, he opened a studio in Greek Street in the heart of London's Soho, specialising in theatrical and film portraits. He met Pamela Green when she walked into this studio one day and asked if he took nude shots. As a freelancer, Webb worked on numerous British TV shows and films from The Sweeney to Casino Royale.
