Douglas PooreDOUGLAS POORE has long been a railroad nut. Growing up with a major railroad hub in his backyard, the railroad bug bit him at a young age. From watching the trains to enjoying model railroading, Doug was fully hooked on railroads for life. Upon retirng from a career in prehospital medicine, Doug took on the role of curator for the Greater Harrington Historical Society. This new venture allowed him to reignite his railroad passion. The town had literally grown up around the railroad and now Doug could read the stories and view the photos of this history.
