Doug WickenDoug Wicken is a passionate writer, photographer, jazz musician, occasional painter of abstracts, and a retired professor of photojournalism at Loyalist College in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. As a freelance documentary photojournalist, he worked in everal Indigenous First Nations communities in Northern Ontario and in Nicaragua during the 1980s. His work, both written and photographic, focus on the human condition with emphasis on cultural and diversity concerns. He currently lives in Kitchener, Ontario.
