Doug McHargueA lifetime spent in North Carolina, Doug McHargue's southern voice speaks in her character-driven poems. A regular reader at Poetry Hickory, she has also been a writer and reader in the Hickory Museum of Art's ekphrastic art program. She was a featur writer and reporter for an area newspaper, and now serves on the Hickory based "Poetry on Board" to place submitted poems on public transit.
