LIU and he studio NODE have been based in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, conducting diversified architectural and urban design practices in the PRD and wider region for years. LIU has taught at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, ETH Zurich and University of California, Berkeley. Since September 2020, she has been appointed as Distinguished Professor at the School of Architecture and Urban Planning of Shenzhen University, and Director of the Greater Bay Area Innovation Design Lab.Based in Shenzhen and Hong Kong for years, LIU and her studio have been conducting diversified architectural and urban design practices in the Pearl River Delta and wider region. Focusing on urban space and public life, insisting on ontological research and practice, pursuing innovation on foundations of rigorous pragmatism, exploring architectural concepts' own logic in relation to openness and compatibility.
