Donna R. GabacciaDonna R. Gabaccia is professor of history emerita at the University of Toronto. She previously served as director of the Immigration History Research Center at the University of Minnesota. She is the author of many books and articles onclass, gender, and ethnicity in American immigration history, on migration in global history, and on Italian emigration around the world. She is a past president of the Social Science History Association and writes often about interdisciplinarity in migration studies.
