Donna Pucciani

Donna PuccianiDonna Pucciani was born in Washington, D.C., grew up in New Jersey, graduated magna cum laude from Marywood University with a degree in music, and earned an M.A. and Ph.D. in Humanities from New York University. She taught in secondary schools and coleges in the East and Midwest for several decades. Her poems have been published on four continents, translated into Chinese, Japanese, Italian and German, and nominated several times for the Pushcart Prize. She has won awards from the Illinois Arts Council, the National Federation of State Poetry Societies, Poetry on the Lake, Poets and Patrons of Chicago, Waterline Writers, and other organizations. A resident of the Chicago area, she served for many years as Vice President of the Poets' Club of Chicago.
